Os Dias da Rádio
Uma das mais gratas recordações da primeira infância no Príncipe Real foi o dia em que, com o meu pai, fomos comprar uma telefonia a uma loja na Rua D. Pedro V, próxima da Igreja S. Pedro de Alcântara. Uma enorme quantidade de botões para carregar são o fascínio de qualquer criança, e cada um deles produzir um som diferente, então…!
Era a magia do éter a entranhar-se! Até hoje, Dia Mundial da Rádio, sendo que a única mudança na telefonia foi o desaparecimento dos botões!

This World Radio Day is a moment to recognize the marvel of radio and to harness its power for the benefit of all,” said UNESCO Director General, Irina Bokova in her message on the occasion of the first World Radio Day.
